Tour of Venice for disabled

These tours are designed to be wheelchair accessible. These itineraries can occur either by boat, along the lagoon of Venice, or mixed by boat and in the city, along paths without architectural barriers identified by the City of Venice.

The boat we use has been specially designed to allow an easy climb and descent for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair (even electric), and a safe and stable placement on the boat's deck itself.

The boat is equipped with comfortable sofas, a coffee table, and a double shading awning, which make it an authentic sailing lounge.

Several routes are possible:

* Standard Tour (full day)
Northern Lagoon
Murano, Burano, Torcello, San Francesco del Deserto.

* Classic Venice (half day)
Navigation to Venice
Guided tour of San Marco’s highlights (Doge’s Palace + Basilica).

* Complete Venice (full day)
Navigation to Venice
Guided tour of the San Marco area (Doge’s Palace + Basilica + San Marco Square) + Guided tour of another part of Venice.

The boat we use for the Tour of Venice for disabled people can accommodate up to 12 people, with these precautions:
if they remain in a wheelchair, 4 (of which a maximum of 2 electric); in addition 3 other people to be transferred on the sofas, whose wheelchairs are folded on the stern. Plus any accompanying persons..

In the tours that last a full day, you can have lunch on the boat (moored at a shore or anchored in quiet canals) or disembark on some island and have lunch in a local restaurant.

The tours are proposed either “pilot only” or “with a guide on board”.
